Nolan materials and production method:

The artwork i chose to work with by Sidney Nolan was 'Illuminations' 1982 this artwork depicts an image of a blurred figure with unproportioned features. The blurred artwork seems at though it were painted using spray can paint and paint brush on an ordinary canvas to achieve a random affect.

Swallow materials and production method:

I chose to work with Ricky Swallow's 'iman phototypes of 2001' this is representation of consecutive skulls all lined up each skull being modied to be transparent and have colours to resemble the apple computers of the time. The intention of this artwork is to represent how humanity is absorbed with and will eventualy be dominated by technology. Materials used in the making of this artwork include transparent plastic moulded in the shape of skulls placed on a bench; the artwork being the idea and representaion itself.
